Drishyam 2 trailer release date announced

Mohanlal has informed that the film’s trailer will be out on February 8. Last day, director Jeethu Joseph had posted in his Facebook page that all post-production works have been completed. Though reports suggest that the film will be out on February 15, the makers are yet to confirm it. An official announcement is expected to be made alongside the trailer release.

‘Drishyam 2’ is the sequel to the record-breaking blockbuster, ‘Drishyam’, that got released in 2013. The story once again revolves around Georgekutty and family. As per Jeethu Joseph, the sequel will be a more intense emotional drama.

Mohanlal Meena, Ansiba Hassan, Siddique, Asha Sharath, Aneesh Menon and Esther Anil are reprising their roles from the first part. Murali Gopy, Ganesh Kumar, Sai Kumar and Anjali Nair are some of the new additions to the cast.

Antony Perumbavoor is producing the film under the banner of Aashirvad Cinemas.
