Dulquer films leading in Ernakulam multiplex opening records

Dulquer Salmaan had clearly emerged as the best crowd puller among the new generation actors of Mollywood. He had now two movies in the 2 crore club of Mollywood cinemas opening day collections. Only Mohanlal had done it twice in his career. Dulquer had done it through Charlie and Kali and Mohanlal had done it through Casanovva and Loham.

Now Dulquer Salmaan has made record in another section of opening at box office as well. It is related to the Multiplexes of Ernakulam. Dulquer Salmaan’S Kali has got the 3rd best opening there at EK multiplexes by grossing 15.07 lakhs on the first day. In the top 3 films of this list Dulquer had 2 films of him.

His Charlie is leading the list with 16.86 lakhs from 54 shows on its opening day. The next in the list is Nivin Pauly starrer film Action Hero Biju, which has got 15.25 lakhs on its opening day there from 59 shows. The 3rd is Kali which got 15.07 lakhs from 45 shows on its first day.

The first day collection of films is determined mostly y the number of young people who comes to the theaters as they are the ones who makes the majority of the first day audience. In that sense, Dulquer Salmaan is very strong as he had got great fan base among youngsters.
