Dulquer Salmaan-Amal Neerad movie to release for Vishu?

One of the most awaited movies of the year is the Amal Neerad- Dulquer Salmaan untitled movie. The movie which was long in the making, was only recently wrapped up. Earlier there were reports about the movie releasing on March 23 but apparently the theatre strike has forced the makers to release the movie for Vishu. An official confirmation regarding the same is awaited.

Dulquer Salmaan is playing the character Aji John, an youngster hailing from Pala who travels to the US to meet his girlfriend. The movie is said to focus more on the events happening after he reaches the US. Debutante Karthika Muraleedharan is playing the female lead in this movie. Soubin Shahir, Jinu Jospeh, John Vijay and many other foreign artists are also part of the cast.

Shibin Francis has scripted this movie. He was the scriptwriter Prithviraj’s movie Pavada released last year. Amal Neerad’s long time associate Ranadive has handled the cinematography. Gopi Sunder is composing the songs and background score.

The movie is jointly produced by director Amal Neerad and Anwar Rasheed, for the banners Amal Neerad Productions and Anwar Rasheed Entertainment.

Mohanlal’s upcoming movie 1971 : Beyond Borders directed by Major Ravi and Mammootty’s Puthan Panam directed by Ranjith is also expected to hit the screens for Vishu. If it happens, this Vishu season will be an exciting period for Malayalam movie lovers.
