Dulquer Salmaan and Soubin Shahir’s Supercross Drama Rumored to be Penned by Archana Kavi?

Fresh buzz surrounds the much-anticipated reunion of Dulquer Salmaan and Soubin Shahir, with new reports suggesting that popular actress Archana Kavi might be scripting their upcoming high-octane Malayalam film. While nothing has been officially confirmed, insiders hint that this beach-racing-themed film is likely to go on floors early next year, with a significant portion to be shot in Dubai. Adding to the intrigue, screenwriter Muneer Ali—who co-wrote Soubin’s acclaimed directorial debut Parava—is also expected to collaborate on the project alongside Archana.

The film, believed to be loosely inspired by the life of Indian Supercross racer C.D. Jinan, gained traction after Soubin Shahir shared a social media story featuring a racing bike tagged with Dulquer Salmaan and cinematographer Sameer Thahir’s names. The stylish image ignited speculation that this could be a visually rich sports drama exploring the adrenaline-pumping world of desert and beach racing.

According to unconfirmed updates, pre-production work is expected to begin either by the end of this year or early next year, once Soubin wraps his portion of the upcoming Amal Neerad–Mohanlal film. Apart from Dubai, the team is also planning to shoot in Fort Kochi and Thrissur. If the rumors hold true, this project will mark Dulquer’s next Malayalam outing after Nahas Hidayath’s I Am Game, promising fans yet another unique cinematic experience from the Parava team.
