Dulquer Salmaan confirms signing his second Telugu film

After carving a niche for himself in Mollywood, Dulquer Salmaan is currently in the process of gaining a foothold in other industries. He is already a popular star in Tamil and this year he made his debut in Telugu and Hindi as well. His Telugu film, Mahanati, the biopic of legendary actress Savitri was a huge success and Dulquer’s performance was widely appreciated. The actor has now revealed that he has signed for a new movie in Telugu.

In a recent interview to a popular English daily, Dulquer informed that he has signed for a movie in Telugu and a couple more in Malayalam. Though the actor did not divulge any details, it is said that his next in Telugu will be with Telugu superstar Venkatesh. Unlike the movies that he has been doing so far, this upcoming one is said to be a war epic film.

Reportely, a popular production house based in Tollywood will be bankrolling the movie and they have hired a newcomer to helm this epic film. Apparently, Dulquer and Venkatesh have already met a couple of times to discuss about the script. An official announcement is expected to be made very shortly.

Meanwhile, Dulquer has already started shooting for his new Hindi film ‘The Zoya Factor’. The movie which has him starring alongside Sonam Kapoor is based on Anuja Chauhan’s 2008 best seller novel of the same name. In South, Dulquer has ‘Oru Yamandan Premakadha in Malayalam, and ‘Kannum Kannum Kollai Adithaal’ (KKKA) and ‘Vann’ coming up in Tamil. KKKA, a rom-com directed by debutant Desingh Periyasamy will be his next to hit screens.
