Dulquer Salmaan’s heroine Avanthika makes it big in serials

Many actresses in Malayalam industry have a tendency to move to mini screen if they do not get enough good roles in movies.

But not everyone gets successful in serials, only very have have the fortune to bag good roles and get noticed by the auidence. One such actress is Avanthika.

Avnathika became popular to the Malayali audience through her character Dr Nanditha in the soap opera Athma Sakhi.

This doe eyed beauty has acted in 5 movies, but sadly she went unnoticed. Soon she forayed into mini screen and found the elusive success.

Of the 5 movies she acted, the most notable was her character Fathima, the hijab clad young lady in Dulquer Salmaan’s Neelakasham Pachakadal Chuvanna Bhoomi.

Avanthika is a trained dancer who is learning art right from her childhood. Dancer/actress Asha Sarath was her teacher from 10th standard.

Avanthika also tried a hand in fashion designing. She opened a boutique after the party wears she designed were appreciated, but she had to close the boutique because of her busy acting life.

She is now a very popular face among the Malayali audience especially elder women thanks to her character Dr Nanditha in the popular serial Athma Sakhi.
