Dulquer Salmaan is one of the most charming actors in Indian cinema today: Balki

Dulquer Salmaan is making a comeback to Bollywood by teaming up with acclaimed director R Balki. They are joining hands for a psychological thriller, a genre that the director hasn’t done before. Balki is known for helming National award winning films like ‘Paa’ and ‘Padman’. He has scripted this new film along with Rishi Virmani and Raja Sen.

Balki is thrilled about working with Dulquer Salmaan, whom he considers one of the most charming actors in Indian cinema. He is quoted saying, “Dulquer is possibly one of the most charming actors in Indian cinema today, and even though I cannot say much about his role except at this point, I’m really looking forward to his distinct and cool interpretation of it.”

This upcoming film also stars Pooja Bhatt, ‘Scam 1992’ fame Shreya Dhanwanthary and Sunny Deol in major roles. Veteran cinematographer PC Sreeram, who was the DOP all of Balki’s films so far, has been retained for this one as well.
