Dulquer Salmaan and Vikram Prabhu to star in Ajith-Vikram starrer Ullasam remake?

Dulquer Salmaan and Vikram Prabhu have been close friends ever since their acting school days in Mumbai. They have often been spotted together in award functions and parties. It is being reported that the two actors are set to come together for a new film. Director duo JD and Jerry will be helming the film, which is rumoured to be a remake of their own 1997 hit film ‘Ullasam’. Ajith and Vikram played the lead roles in that film, which was produced by Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan.

It is reported that in the remake, Vikram Prabhu will be reprising Ajith’s role while Dulquer will be essaying the part played by Vikram. There are also reports about writer Pattukottai Prabhakar scripting a fresh subject for the duo. An official word is still awaited in this regard.

Dulquer is currently shooting for Anoop Sathyan’s film. His much-hyped about film ‘Kurup’ is also at the halfway stage. Apart from that, he has committed for a film with Joy Mathew, and a project each in Tamil and Telugu.
