Dulquer Salmaan’s CIA aka Comrade In America is one of the most awaited Malayalam movies of the year. The movie, directed by Amal Neerad, is all set for a massive release next month.

The hype surrounding CIA is humongous and it is majorly due to the teaming up of Amal Neerad and Dulquer Salmaan. The two have previously worked together in Kullante Bharya, a shortfilm in the anthology 5 Sundharikal. But that movie was very unlike Amal Neerad’s regular flicks that are known for being stylish and unique with the treatment.

CIA, written by Shibin Francis is a story about Aji Mathew, a Pala based youngster who travels to US for his girlfriend. A major portion of the movie is set abroad in the USA. Debutante Karthika Muraleedharan is playing the female lead. Soubin Shahir, Dileesh Pothen, John Vijay and Jinu Joseph will be seen in supporting roles.

Mark Chavarria, the action choreographer of Hollywood movies like Inception, Pearl Harbour, Terminator and Logan has choreographed the stunts in CIA. Gopi Sunder is composing the songs and background score for the movie, produced by Amal Neerad’s own banner Amal Neerad Productions.
