Dulquer Salmaan’s film with Abhilash Joshiy titled King of Kotha

We were among the first to report about Dulquer Salmaan starring in the directorial debut of with veteran filmmaker Joshiy’s son Abhilash. Last day, on the occasion of the star’s birthday, the project got officially announced. The films has been titled as ‘King of Kotha’ and its announcement poster has Dulquer in a rugged-mass look holding a gun.

Announcing the project, he wrote,

One of the reasons why I love my birthday is because I get to share all these exciting new projects and posters with you guys.

Abilash N Chandran of ‘Porinju Mariam Jose’ fame is scripting ‘King of Kotha’. Earlier in an interview, Dulquer had revealed that the film will be an entertainer made on a big canvas. Abhilash Joshiy is planning to make it like his father’s films, which are best known as proper commercial entertainers.

Dulquer’s own production house Wayfarer Films is producing the film. More details regarding the other cast and crew members are expected to be out soon.
