Dulquer Salmaan’s Solo will be an anthology of five stories

Dulquer Salmaan has finished shooting his portions for Soubin Shahir’s debut directorial Parava. The actor will be travelling to Shimla to join the second schedule of Bejoy Nambiar’s Solo.

Bejoy Nambiar, a former associate of Mani Ratnam, is a renowned filmmaker in Bollywood. He is noted for his movies like Shaitan, David and more recently Wazir.

Solo is reportedly an anthology of five stories. Five female leads will be there for each story with Dulquer playing the lead in all of them. Model turned actress Arthi Venkatesh and Ann Augustine have already been roped in to play the leads.

First schedule of the movie was completed in Kochi and Athirappilly, with Dulquer and Arthi shooting for some important scenes. The movie is being made as a bilingual in Tamil and Malayalam. Apart from the lead actors, the supporting actors will be different for both Tamil and Malayalam versions.

Both Bejoy Nambiar and Dulquer Salmaan had earlier mentioned that Solo will not be an usual run of the mill kind of movie. It will be a commercially viable romantic entertainer with a different style and treatment.
