First look of Dulquer Salmaan’s Kurup goes viral!

Shoot for Dulquer Salmaan’s ‘Kurup’ is progressing in full swing. Srinath Rajendran is directing the film, which is based on the life of Kerala’s infamous criminal, Sukumara Kurup. Meanwhile, the makers had released the first look poster on New Year’s Day. The poster featuring Dulquer has gone viral across social media platforms. The actor will be seen sporting multiple looks in the film. Expectations are huge on the film due to multiple reasons — the real-life connect, the star-studded cast and the leaked location stills featuring Dulquer in different looks.

Dulquer himself is producing the film under his banner, Wayfarer Films. M Stars is also associated in the production. It is learnt that the film will be releasing worldwide on May 23 during the Eid season. An official confirmation is expected to be made after the completion of shoot.

Along with Dulquer, the cast of ‘Kurup’ also includes some other big names like Indrajith Sukumaran, Tovino Thomas, Sunny Wayne, Sobhita Dhulipala and Shine Tom Chacko. Jithin K Jose has written the story and screenplay is penned jointly by KS Aravind and Daniel Sayooj Nair. On the technical front, Nimish Ravi of ‘Luca’ fame is wielding the camera and Sushin Shyam handles the music department.
