I am a very fortunate actor: Mohanlal

Mohanlal attended the launch of his new book ‘Gurumukhangal’ today in Thiruvanathapuram. The book is written as a tribute to all his gurus. He launched the book by presenting it to Madhu, the most senior actor in Mollywood currently.

During the event Mohanlal said that he is very fortunate to have shared screen space with some of the greatest actors like Prem Nazir, Madhu, SP Pillai, Kottarakkara Sreedharan Nair, Nagesh, Rajkumar Rao, Nageshwara Rao, MGR, Sivaji Ganesan, Gemini Ganesan, Major Soundarrajan, Manorama, Sukumari, Amitabh Bachchan and many other legends.

On the work front, Mohanlal is currently shooting for B Unnikrishnan’s Villain. He is playing an ex-cop in the movie. The actor has toned down for playing his part in the movie and is sporting a salt and pepper bearded look. Manju Warrier, Tamil actor Vishal, Telugu actor Srikanth, Raashi Khanna and Hansika Motwani are also part of the cast. This big budget movie is bank rolled by Rockline Venkatesh.

Mohanlal’s next release is 1971 Beyond Borders directed by Major Ravi. This big budget war drama is scheduled to hit screens on April 7.
