Here’s Mammootty as Sakhavu Alex; Parole gearing up for release!

Mammootty starrer Parole was a less talked about movie until the official posters were released. While the first look had an intense Mammootty with flag bearing activists in the background, the second one him as a convict sporting an older look. The contrasting posters have successfully piqued the curiosity of the audience. Parole marks the directorial debut of ad filmmaker Sharrath Sandith.

Last day, the makers released another poster featuring Mammootty and Siddique as the left supporting activists. The former plays the lead role of Sakhav Alex in the movie. Ajith Poojappura has scripted Parole based on some real life incidents. It is a common man’s story with a political background for the lead character. The movie travels through three different phases of Alex’s life. As per the makers, Mammootty has given such an intense performance that will remind the viewers of his earlier days.

Parole has Ineya and Miya George as the female leads. While Ineya plays Mammootty’s wife, Miya will be seen in his sister’s role. ‘Baahubali’ fame Prabhakar is playing a significant part in Parole. Suraj Venjaramoodu, Krishna Kumar, Irshad, Sijoy Varghese, Sohan Seenulal, Lalu Alex, Sudheer Karamana, Alencier Ley Lopez, Binu Pappu, Sasi Kallinga, Muthumani and Chembil Ashokan form the movie’s huge supporting cast.

Parole is produced by Antony D’Cruz Entertainment. As per reports, the movie is slated for release on March 30. Century Films will be releasing the movie in Kerala.
