Here’s a new poster of Petta featuring Rajinikanth and Simran

Karthik Subbaraj directorial ‘Petta’ is gearing up to hit screens next month. A new poster of the movie featuring Rajinikanth and Simran has been released today in social medias. The two actors are coming together for the first time and movie lovers are eagerly waiting to see their on-screen chemistry. They reportedly play a couple in the movie.

‘Petta’ has an incredible star cast, probably the biggest in Kollywood in recent years. Vijay Sethupathi, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Bobby Simha, Trisha, Malavika Mohanan and Megha Akash are playing major roles. Guru Somasundaram, Munishkanth Ramdoss, Manikandan Achari, Sanath Reddy, Deepak Paramesh and ‘Aadukalam’ Naren will be seen in supporting roles.

Reportedly, the movie has Rajinikanth playing the role of a hostel warden, who has a lesser known gangster like dark past. Vijay Sethupathi and Nawazuddin are reportedly playing the antagonists. ‘Petta’ teaser and songs have got tremendous reception and the movie is expected to be a huge blockbuster.

Kalanithi Maran is producing movie under the banner of Sun Pictures. It is a scheduled for a grand Pongal release in January, but the exact date has not yet been revealed.
