Here’s the second look poster of Vijay Sethupathi’s Seethakaathi

Vijay Sethupathi is currently on a high with his last two releases, ‘Chekka Chivantha Vaanam’ and ’96’, emerging successful. The actor’s long pending ‘Seethakaathi’ is now gearing up for release. Second look poster of the movie was released today in social medias. While the first look had Vijay Sethupathi as an old man, the new poster features him as a youngster in a warrior like attire.

‘Seethakaathi’ directed by Balaji Tharaneetharan has Vijay Sethupathi playing the role of a drama artist. He will be appearing in three different age groups – that of a 75, 50 and 30-year-old in the movie. The first look poster had him in a nearly unrecognizable look of a 75-year-old man. Oscar Award-winning make up artist Kevin Haney designed the actor’s look in the movie.

‘Seethakaathi’ has high expectations among the audience. Vijay Sethupathi has a performance oriented role in the movie and cinephiles are looking forward to see another smashing performance from him. The movie marks his reunion with director Balaji Tharaneetharan after the comic caper, ‘Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom’.

This upcoming movie’s cast includes Archana, J Mahendran, Bagavathy Perumal, Rajkumar, Parvatii Nair and Remya Nambeesan among others. Govind Vasantha, who is getting rave reviews for his work in ’96’, is handling the music department in this movie as well. It is being produced jointly by Sudhan Sundaram, Umesh, Jayaram and Arun Vaidyanathan under the banner of Passion Studios.
