Hindi and Telugu version of Rajinikanth movie Kabali become big loss for distributors

Rajinikanth starrer movie named Kabali had done a great business all over the world. This Pa Ranjith movie was released on July 22 and it had raked in 220 crore+ even before its release by selling the distribution rights of the movie in India and overseas. At many places it had made good profit and at many places it brought loss to distributors. As per the latest reports that came in, Kabali had brought loss to the distributors of its Hindi and Telugu version.

The Hindi version of the film had got 35 crores as its distribution rights. Even though it had an opening day figure of 5 crores from the Hindi version, the mixed opinion it had got affected the collection of the movie. Later, the collection from the Hindi version went down and as per the latest report, it had brought crores of loss to the distributor.

Same is the case with the Telugu dubbed version of the movie as well. After the rush in the initial days, the craze for the movie had died out there. Trade analysts says that the distributors of the Telugu version also suffered huge loss just like the distributor of its Hindi version. But the Tamil version of the movie had done a great job all over the globe.

In Kerala too the film had done a great business by collecting over 16 crores and Mohanlal’s Aashirvad Cinemas who bought the distribution rights of this movie for 7.5 crore had already earned profit.
