Honey Rose in a new look for Chunkzz

We had earlier reported that director Omar Lulu who shot to fame with his debut movie Happy Wedding has started his next project. The movie titled as Chunkzz, promises to be a fun ride with revolving around travel and friendship.

Aanandam fame Vishak Nair and Balu Varghese, Ganapathi, Honey Rose, Mareena Michael and Dharmajan Bolgatty are playing the major roles in the movie.

Honey Rose is essaying a tomboyish character, Riya in the movie. Riya is a troublemaker of sorts who manages to create a problem wherever she goes. In the film, she is kicked out of her college in Bangalore forcing her parents enroll her in a college in Kerala. She joins mechanical engineering as the sole female student. The actress shared some of her photos from the shoot, in which she is seen sporting the look of a college student with an ID card and a bag.

Mareena Michael is playing the character Sherin, a DJ based in Bangalore. The movie’s plot evolves as the girls join the gang of boys on a trip to Goa. Dharmajan is also sporting a stylish look for the movie. An official poster was released where he is seen with a soul patch and spiked hair. In a rider’s jacket and sun glass, the actor is nearly unrecognizable.

The director’s debut movie, Happy Wedding was a sleeper success which had a theatrical run of over 100 days. Three newcomers Sanoop Thykoodam, Joseph Vijeesh and Aneesh Hameed have scripted this movie. They have jointly written the screenplay and dialogues for Omar Lulu’s story.

Gopi Sunder is music director while Honey Bee fame Alby will be cranking the camera. Dilip Dennis is in charge of the edits. The movie is produced by Vaishak Rajan under his banner Vaishaka Movies.
