I’m eagerly looking forward to NGK: Dhanush

Dhanush is currently on a high with the extremely positive response for his latest outing, Vada Chennai. The actor has multiple projects coming up – Maari 2 and Enai Nokki Paayum Thotta with Gautham Menon. He has also committed for a fantasy entertainer with ‘Ratchasan’ fame Ram Kumar, a stand-alone film with Vetrimaaran out of the ‘Vada Chennai’ series, and another one with Karthik Subbaraj. Dhanush is presently working on his new directorial, a period flick, co-starring Nagarjuna, Sarathkumar, SJ Suryah, Srikanth, Nithya Menen, and Aditi Rao Hydari.

For the last few months, there has been a buzz about Dhanush teaming up with his brother, ace filmmaker Selvaraghavan. In a recent interview, when quizzed about the same, the actor said, “As of now, I’m looking forward to NGK as it’s a dream combo featuring Selva sir, Suriya sir, and Yuvan. I will be joining hands with my brother in 2019.”

As Dhanush said, NGK has a dream team and expectations on the movie are massive. The movie is a political thriller featuring Suriya as an MLA. Rakul Preet Singh and Sai Pallavi play the two female leads in the movie. The team is currently on a break; next schedule is slated to commence in November. The makers are planning to release the movie by early next year.
