Indrajith Sukumaran, Ann Augustine and Aparna Balamurali in Rathish Ambat’s next

‘Kammarasambhavam’ director Rathish Ambat has joined the team of directors who are part of the upcoming Netflix anthology based on MT Vasudevan Nair’s stories. Rathish’s film has been titled as ‘Kadalkattu’ and it will have Indrajith Sukumaran, Ann Augustine and Aparna Balamurali as the leads.

Planned as a 10-part anthology, it has films helmed by directors Priyadharshan, Shyamaprasad, Santosh Sivan, Jayaraj, Mahesh Narayanan and Lijo Jose Pellissery.
The cast includes the likes of Mohanlal, Mammootty, Biju Menon, Parvathy Thiruvoth, Fahadh Faasil, Sshivada, Indrans and Nedumudi Venu among others. Each segment is based on a story by MT Vasudevan Nair.

Rathish Ambat also has another film titled ‘Theerppu’ coming up. The film scripted by Murali Gopy has Prithviraj, Indrajith, Isha Talwar, Saiju Kurup, Vijay Babu and Hannah Reji Koshy in the main roles. Its shoot has been completed and the film is likely to have a direct release on Amazon Prime Video.
