It is a blessing that I got the chance to work with Mammootty, says Peranbu director Ram

Popular director Ram is now busy with his project with Mollywood Super Star Mammootty and the film is titled as Peranbu. Popular actress Anjali playing the female lead in this film and is almost completed at Chennai. Ram shot to fame through his national award winning movie Thanga Meenkal. Sadhana, who got great appreciation through the film Thanga Meenkal also playing an important character in this film Peranbu.

Ram had said that Mammootty is a great actor and it is blessing that he got the chance to work with such a great actor like Mammootty. The first schedule of the film had completed in Kodaikkanal in the month of January. There are reports that the film is based on theme of a father-daughter relationship and also has some unique elements in it.

Anjali, who is playing the female lead in this film had made her debut in Tamil through the film Katrathu Tamizh, directed by none other than Ram himself. So, Peranbu is her second project with Ram. Mammootty is also said to be excited about the film and the releasing date of the film is not yet decided.

Mammootty is acting in a Tamil film after long years and he had acted in a handful of Tamil films many years back. His upcoming release is White directed by Uday Ananthan and it will hit the screens in this coming May.
