Jacob Gregory to play the lead in Dulquer Salmaan’s maiden production

Last day, the official launch of Dulquer Salmaan’s maiden production venture was held in Kochi. Dulquer, his wife Amaal Sufiya, Sunny Wayne, Sekhar Menon and Shani Shaki were present for the launch. Along with sharing photos of the event, Dulquer had also written a note in his social media handle, which reads,

So today makes the first day of shoot for my maiden production. The name of the film and the production house is still under wraps. I’ll announce both when the time is right. In the mean time seeking all of your blessings and prayers for this to turn into a lovely company that makes quality films of all kinds.

Though details about the title, cast and crew have not yet been formally announced, it is learnt that the movie has been titled as ‘Ashokante Adhyarathri’. Jacob Gregory is said to be playing the lead role in the movie. Dulquer is also likely to appear in a cameo role. Dulquer and Gregory are great friends in real-life. They have also acted together in films like ‘ABCD’, ‘100 Days of Love’, ‘Jomonte Suvisheshangal’ and ‘Parava’.

With his maiden production, Dulquer is introducing a bunch of newcomers to the industry. The movie is directed by Shamsu Zayba. Sajad Kakku is the cinematographer and music is by Sreehari K Nair. Let’s wait for the official announcement for more details.
