Who is Jayalakshmi in Saithan?

Music director turned actor Vijay Antony’s upcoming movie Saithan is gearing up for release on December 1. It earlier scheduled to be released in November but got postponed due to the demonetisation move by the government.

Saithan is a bilingual made in Tamil and Telugu. The first look posters and the 10 minute trailer released by the makers in YouTube have aroused the curiosity of the audience.

The 10 minute trailer shows the first 10 minutes of the movie. It is a very intriguing one with that invokes a lot of questions in the viewers mind. And the most popular question is Who is Jayalakshmi and why did he kill him.

We will have to wait till December 1 to know who Jayalakshmi is and how the plot unfolds. Saithan is a psychological thriller directed and by Pradeep Krishnamoorthy who has also handled the cinematography. Vijay Antony himself is composing the music for the movie.

Arundhathi Nair is playing the female lead while popular Chennai-based bike racer Alisha Abdulla, Meera Krishnan, veteran actors Charuhaasan and Y G Mahendra are playing pivotal characters.

Aadukalam Murugadoss, Kitty Krishna, Meera Krishnan, Siddhartha Shankar, Kamal and Vijay Sarathy are also part of the cast.

Saithan is a bilingual made in Tamil and Telugu. It is titled as Bethaludu in Telugu. Vijay Antony’s previous movie Pichaikkaran was a commercial success in Tamil Nadu.

Telugu version of Pichaikkaran, Bichagadu was an even bigger blockbuster collecting around 5 crores from the opening weekend itself. The massive success of Bichagadu has encouraged the makers to release Bethaludu for a wide release.

Saithan will be distributed by Aura Cinemas in Kerala. Reportedly, the movie has already done a huge pre release business. Saithan been certified with a U/A rating by the CBFC. Satellite rights for the movie are bought by Sun TV for a hefty amount.
