Jayam Ravi and Taapsee team up for a spy thriller

Jayam Ravi and Taapsee Pannu are coming together for the first time for a Tamil spy-thriller. Directed by Ahmed of ‘Endrendrum Punnagai’ and ‘Manithan’ fame, the movie is being currently shot in Azerbaijan, Russia. Both Jayam Ravi and Taapsee are said to be playing intelligence agents in the film.

Reportedly, this new film has tentatively been titled as ‘Jana Gana Mana’. Iranian actress and model Elnaaz Norouzi, who played the character Zoya Mirza in the hit Netflix series Sacred Games, is also part of this film. She has been roped in to play a very crucial role in it. Along with that, there are also unconfirmed reports about KGF villain Ram also starring in it.

Apparently, the film has been planned as an action-packed espionage thriller and hence all the lead actors will be performing risky stunt sequences in it. Both Jayam Ravi and Taapsee are known for being selective with their films, especially the latter who is currently one of the leading heroines in the country. So expectations are high on this one among the Tamil audience.
