Jayasurya as Kadamattathu Kathanar; 2-part big budget 3D film getting ready!

Jayasurya, known for doing a wide range of challenging roles, will be next seen as Kadamattathu Kathanar, an 8th century priest who is believed to have possessed supernatural powers. Rojin Thomas of ‘Philips And The Monkey Pen’ fame is directing the film. It is scripted by R Ramanand and Vijay Babu of Friday Film House is producing it.

Interestingly, the makers have planned it as a two-part fantasy thriller film and it will be shot in 3D format. If things out turn out as per plans, it will be the most expensive film in Jayasurya’s career. More details regarding the other cast, crew and when shoot begins are expected to be officially announced in the coming days.

Jayasurya has previously collaborated with Friday Film House in ‘Philps and the Monkey Pen’ and the ‘Aadu’ series. He also has three more films coming up with the same banner – ‘Thrissur Pooram’, ‘Aadu 3’ and Sathyan biopic. The actor was also supposed to star in another film, ‘Turbo Peter’, but the project got shelved due to some unknown reasons.
