Jayasurya-Nadhirshah film Eesho censored with clean U certificate

Jayasurya’s upcoming film ‘Eesho’ directed by Nadhirshah is getting ready for release. Last day, the film cleared censors with a clean U certificate. It must have been a huge sigh of relief for the makers as the film’s title had earlier got them in trouble. Christian religious groups had lashed out against the makers for using the title ‘Eesho’. It was later resolved after several rounds of discussions.

Nadhirshah as a director is well known for helming fun-filled entertainers. All his previous films, ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’, ‘Kattapanayile Rithwik Roshan’ and ‘Mera Naam Shaji’, had humour as the main element. ‘Eesho’, however, is a thriller and it will be interesting to see how Nadhirshah has helmed it.

Suneesh Varanad, who had earlier penned the Manju Warrier-starrer ‘Mohanlal’, has scripted this film as well. It has Namitha Pramod as the female lead. Salim Kumar will be also seen playing an important role.

On the technical front, Roby Varghese Raj has handled the cinematography and edits are done by Shameer Muhammed. Nadhirshah is composing the songs and background score is by Jakes Bejoy.

Actor-turned-producer Arun Narayan is producing the film under his banner Arun Narayan Productions. Release date is expected to be announced soon.
