Jeethu Joseph hints about teaming up with Dulquer Salmaan!

Jeethu Joseph recently made heads turn with the surprise announcement of ‘Drishyam 2’. The film will be the continuation of his 2013 mega blockbuster that had Mohanlal in the lead. The director has already started working on the pre-production of the sequel as he plans to start shooting for the film soon after the lockdown restrictions are lifted. Mohanlal will be reprising the lead role of Georgekutty and along with him, all major actors from the first part will be retained.

Meanwhile, Jeethu Joseph has revealed that he has had plans to make a film with young star Dulquer Salmaan. Apparently, the director had a subject in mind and even approached the star, who responded positively. However, Jeethu admits that he could not develop the script properly at that time. He is still hopeful of completing the script and convincing Dulquer.

Dulquer’s next in Malayalam is a cop film with Rosshan Andrrews. He also a project each in Tamil and Telugu lines up. The hugely anticipated ‘Kurup’ will be his next to hit screens.
