Joju George’s ‘Joseph’ all set to hit screens this Friday

As we already know, Joju George is playing the lead in an upcoming movie titled, ‘Joseph’. The movie is gearing up to storm screens this Friday (November 16). The intriguing teaser and songs had caught the attention of social media users. The movie is directed by M Padmakumar, noted for his films like ‘Vargam’, ‘Vasthavam’ and ‘Shikkar’.

Joju George is one of the most reliable supporting actors we have in Malayalam cinema today. Lately, the actor has been doing many performance-oriented roles in movies like ‘Ramante Edanthottam’, ‘Udhaharanam Sujatha’ and ‘Njan Marykutty.’ In ‘Joseph’, he is playing the role of a retired police officer and sports an old man’s look. We can expect another solid performance from him.

‘Joseph’ scripted by Shahi Kabir comes with an interesting tagline, ‘Man with the scar’. From the tagline, we presume that the movie deals with some dark chapters in a police man’s life. Dileesh Pothan, Irshad, Anil Murali, Madhuri, Malavika, Jaffer Idukki, Sudhi Koppa, Idavela Babu and Athmiya are part of the movie’s supporting cast.

Manesh Madhavan, who won the Kerala State award last year for his work in ‘Aeden’, is the DOP while Kiran Das of ‘Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum’ fame handes the edits. Joju himself is producing the movie under his own banner. Besides that he is also donning the singer’s hat. The song, ‘Pandu Paadavarambathiloode’, which he has rendered along with Benedict Shine is already a hit in the cyber space.
