Kaithi: Here’s the first look poster of Karthi’s next

We had recently reported about Karthi teaming up with director Lokesh Kanagaraj, who made his debut with the superhit action-thriller ‘Maanagaram’. Title and first look poster of the upcoming movie was officially released a while back in social medias. Titled as ‘Kaithi’, the movie reportedly has Karthi playing a jail convict. The poster looks intense with blood shades all over and it hints at an action packed flick. SR Prakashbabu and Prabhu of Dream Warrior Pictures is producing the movie.

Karthi has an interesting line up of films in his kitty. He has signed for a film with Malayali filmmaker Jeethu Joseph. Said to be a thriller, the movie reportedly has Jyothika also playing a major role. Official word regarding the same has not yet been by the makers. If it materialises, it will be Karthi’s first film with his sister-in-law Jyothika.

Karthi has also committed for a film with ‘Remo’ director Bakkiyaraj Kannan. Touted to be an action cum family drama, the film will mark the Tamil debut of South Indian sensation Rashmika Mandanna.
