Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal director Desingh Periyasamy’s next is with Sivakarthikeyan

Before the pandemic brought things to a standstill, Dulquer Salmaan starrer ‘Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal’ (KKK) had a good run in theatres. Directed by debutant Desingh Periyasamy, the film was a sleeper hit at the box office. With just one film, the director has already made his mark as a talent to watch out for.

After the success of ‘KKK’, Periyasamy is said to be getting offers from several corners. He even got a call from Rajinikanth who was highly impressed with the film. In the phone call, the superstar had also asked Periyasamy to develop a suitable subject for him.

As per latest reports from Kollywood medias, Periyasamy will be teaming up with young star Sivakarthikeyan next. He has already started working on the script and an official confirmation is expected to be made soon. With a much bigger star like Sivakarthikeyan at the helm, it will be interesting to see what genre the director attempts next.
