Karan Johar praises Dulquer Salmaan

Dulquer Salmaan’s superhit Kollywood movie OK Kanmani is being remade in Bollywood as OK Jaanu. The movie stars Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead roles.

OK Kanmani was made by legendary filmmaker Mani Ratnam. The Hindi version is directed by his assistant Shaad Ali. Karan Johar and Mani Ratnam have produced this movie under their banners Dharma Productions and Madras Talkies.

The trailer of the movie was released recently and Dulquer also shared it in his official Twitter page. He also mentioned his love for Karan Johar, Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur.

Soon Karan Johar replied back to Dulquer and appreciated him for setting high standards with his performance in OK Kanmani.

The lead lady, Shraddha Kapoor also thanked Dulquer for sharing the trailer and his wishes. She hoped that their movie will also be loved by the audience like the original version.

He was lauded by veteran Bollywood filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma after his performance in OK Kanmani. There are also unconfirmed reports doing the rounds about Dulquer Salmaan debuting in Bollywood though a popular banner.
