Karu is Sai Pallavi’s horror movie

Sai Pallavi though being a Tamilian had done her debut movie through Mollywood. She had acted opposite Nivin Pauly in Alphonse Puthren’s Premam which had took vibrant audience from both Kerala and Tamil Nadu in hand.

There was a buzz among the movie lovers for a while now as she had rejected her debut in Tamil with actors like Vikram and Karthi. She was also said to play her debut through AL Vijay’s Tamil remake of Dulquer Salmaan’s Charlie. But the movie is shelved as of now and is believed to progress later.

We have now reports that she is all set to play the lead role in Karu which is also filmed by AL Vijay. The women-centric movie is a fully horror flick. She is said to portray a vital and much important role in the film.

The director AL Vijay had informed earlier that the shooting for the movie will commence by the end of this month or early next month. Neerav Shah is assigned to crank the camera and Anthony handles the edits. The movie is bankrolled by Lyca Productions. He is currently busy with the release of his Jayam Ravi starrer Vanamagan which hits theaters the 19th of this month.
