Lijo Jose Pellissery to direct Mammootty after Angamaly Diaries

Lijo Jose Pellissery’s Angamaly Diaries is all set to release on March 3, Friday. The movie is eagerly awaited by the cine lovers after the impressive trailer and songs. Including the lead actors, 85 new faces are part of the cast.

Lijo Jose Pellissery is renowned for his filmmaking style that is unique and different from the other mainstream directors. All his movies have a peculiar pattern and style that has been acclaimed by the movie buffs.

Earlier there were reports about the director teaming up with Megastar Mammootty. In an exclusive interview to Onlookers Media, the director was asked about the project. He said, “We had planned on such a project but it didn’t take off at that time. It is still in the early stages and nothing has been confirmed.”

Mammootty teaming up with the director will be an exciting prospect. It will be a refreshing change for the Megastar fans and the audience to see the actor in an all together different character. We wish they both team up soon.

Mammootty is currently busy shooting for 7th Day fame Shyam Dhar’s untitled family entertainer. He has also signed for movies with Vysakh, Ajai Vasudev, Sethu, Shafi, Nadirshah, Shamdat and a movie written by Joy Mathew. His next releaese is The Great Father, directed by debutant Haneef Adeni. The movie is scheduled to hit screens on March 30.
