Charlie starring Dulquer Salmaan is all set to release all over this coming Friday and the hype around the film is increasing day by day. The flick directed by Martin Prakatt and Scripted by Unni R is said to be a musical romantic movie which has Dulquer Salmaan and Parvathy Menon playing the male and female lead. Aparnna Gopinath who made her debut with Martin Prakkat-Dulquer film ABCD is also playing a key role in this film.

The trailer released yesterday had creating records in number of views in YouTube and now the question in everyone’s mind is about one thing. The trailer shows a room which is numbered as 66 and we hears a voice only which saying “Yes”. There are many speculations about who may be that character or will it may be a surprise guest role by Mammootty or Mohanlal. And the director Martin Prakkat himself speaks about that and clarifies.

Martin Prakkat says that there will be no Mammootty or Mohanlal, or in that case Prithviraj is playing a guest role in this film. It is not a suspense thriller or not an action mass film. It is a light romantic film which has importance to music. There were rumors earlier that Charlie the title indicates a drug and the film is a suspense thriller based on Drug Cartel. But Martin Prakkat clarifies that as well. He said that Charlie is the name of the character played by Dulquer Salmaan and there is nothing like drug cartel or something associated with that.

Martin said that he is happy that people are waiting for the film eagerly but at the same time he is anxious as well because of the over expectation of the people. From the moment it had started filming, various news spreads about the film and everything ended up in raising the hype of the film. He said that Dulquer Salmaan and Parvathy had done a great job in this film and both of them had worked hard to be the characters. The time and energy they all gave for the film is priceless and he believes that all their effort will pay off once the film reaches the screens all over.
