Malik trailer release date announced

The makers of Fahadh Faasil’s eagerly awaited film ‘Malik’ have announced that its trailer will be out on March 25. Directed by Mahesh Narayanan, the film is based on some real-life incidents that occurred few years back in Kerala. The film produced by Anto Joseph is made on a big canvas with a budget of close to Rs 30 crores.

‘Malik’ also stars Nimisha Sajayan, Dileesh Pothan, Vinay Forrt, Indrans, Sudhi Koppa, Chandhunath, yesteryear actress Jalaja and Maala Parvathy in major roles. Besides directing and scripting, Mahesh Narayanan is also editing the film. DOP Sanu John Varughese, music director Sushin Shyam, production designer Santhosh Raman and sound designers Vishnu Govind and Sree Sankar are part of the technical team.

‘Malik’ was originally scheduled for release last year. However, the makers were forced to change their plans due to the pandemic. They have finally zeroed in on May 13 as the release date. Since it coincides with the Eid season, the film is expected to take a good opening in theatres.
