Mammootty and Prithviraj to work together again

Mammootty and Prithviraj, these two popular stars in Mollywood had worked together in films like Pokkiri Raja and Munnariyippu before and as per reports coming in, they are all set to share screen space again in an upcoming movie which will be directed by Haneef Adeni. Mammootty will play the lead in this movie and if reports coming in are true, then Prithviraj will play an extended cameo in this movie.

August Cinemas owned by Prithviraj, director/cinematographer Santhosh Sivan, Shaji Nadeshan and actor Arya will produce this movie, which is planning to start filming in the last week of July. Earlier there were reports that this film is titled as My Dad David. But as of now, the team behind the film not yet fixed any title for this movie.

The team says that this will be a family drama as well as thriller and Mammootty will be seen in a stylish avatar in this flick. It will be like a film named Daddy Cool, which Mammootty acted years before through which Aashiq Abu had made his debut. The major locations of this movie will be Wagamon, Kochi and Thrissur. Prithvi Raj reportedly had given 15 days for this movie for filming his part.

Prithviraj had earlier produced Mammootty film Kadal Kadannoru Mathukutty directed by Ranjith and in that movie, super stars like Mohanlal, Dileep, Jayaram etc played guest roles as well.
