Mammootty signed another Tamil movie

If the reports coming in are to be believed, Mollywood star Mammootty had signed another Tamil movie this year after Peranbu directed by Ram. He had completed the filming of Ram directorial Tamil film named Peranbu and the flick is in its post-production stage now. The release of Peranbu is expected to be by this year last. The reports from Kollywood says that Mammootty had signed a new Tamil movie and it will be directed by critically acclaimed director Seenu Ramasamy.

Seenu Ramasaamy had met Mammootty in Chennai and discussed about this project as per reports. The actor got impressed by the thread and given his node to go forward with the project, says sources from Kollywood. Seenu Ramasamy is now busy with his film with Vijay Sethupathy in the lead and it is titled as Dharmadurai.

Seenu Ramasamy has earlier directed critically appreciated Tamil movies like Thenmerku Paruvakatru, Idam porul yaeval etc. Mammootty too had acted in a handful of Tamil films and he is quite popular in Tamil Nadu as well. Movies like Azhakan, Kandukondein Kandukondein, Thalapathy etc made him popular there at Tamil Nadu.In Thalapathy, Mammootty had shared screen space with Tamil superstar Rajnikanth and Mani Ratnam had directed that movie.

This Seenu Ramasamy film will only begin next year as per reports and Mammootty is now waiting for the release of his Mollywood biggie named Kasaba which will grace the screens on July 7.
