Maniyarayile Ashokan confirmed as a Netflix release!

Jacob Gregory starrer ‘Maniyarayile Ashokan’ has been confirmed as a direct OTT release. The film will be premiering in Netflix on August 31 on the auspicious day of Thiruvonam. Dulquer Salmaan, who is producing the film, made the formal announcement through his social media handle. He has written,

It is going to be an exciting Thiruvonam for us at Wayfarer Films as Maniyarayile Asokan is being released on Netflix on Monday. The film is special for a number of reasons and I am super proud of the team that put together this sweet quirky love story. Can’t wait for you guys to watch it!

‘Maniyarayile Ashokan’ is directed by Shamsu Zayba. Scripted by Vineeth Krishnan, the film is said to be a fun rom-com set in a rural backdrop. Anupama Parameswaran, Anu Sithara, Shritha Sivadas, Nayana Elza, Shine Ton Chacko and Krishna Shankar are also part of the supporting cast. Sunny Wayne will also be seen in a cameo role in the film.
