The recently released mystery-thriller ‘The Priest’ saw the first time coming together of Mammootty and Manju Warrier. Though the two have been in the industry for so long, they had not shared screen space before. In ‘The Priest’, though they appear together only briefly, it has an overall great impact.

Manju, in her interviews, has often repeated about how delighted she was to act alongside Mammootty. It seems like she had the best time working with the veteran. ‘The Priest’ directed by debutant Jofin T Chacko has done excellent business at the box office. The film got released amidst huge hype and it eventually managed to live up to the fans’ expectations. With the audience turning up in large numbers, the dwindling theatre business in Kerala was brought back on track.
