Sasikumar and Jyothika to play siblings in Suriya’s next production!

Suriya’s own production house 2D Entertainment is producing a new film with Jyothika and Sasikumar as the leads. Ra Saravanan of ‘Kathukutti’ fame is directing the film. It is learnt that Jyothika and Sasikumar play siblings in it. Samuthirakani essays the role of Jyothika’s husband. The film is about how Jyothika tackles her upright husband and ruffian brother. As confirmed by the makers, it will be an emotional drama.

The cast also includes Soori, ‘Madras’ Kalaiyarasan, and Nivethitha in supporting roles. On the technical front, the film has music composed by D Imman, who recently won the National award for his excellent work in the Ajith starrer ‘Viswasam’. Velraj has cranked the camera and Ruben is in charge of the edits.

Shoot for this yet-to-be titled film has already been completed. Major portions were shot in Tanjore and surrounding locales. Reportedly, the film will be releasing in the second half of this year.
