Megastar Mammootty movie Thoppil Joppan unshaken in the box office

Megastar Mammootty starrer Thoppil Joppan was released yesterday alongside Pulimurugan. Thoppil Joppan directed by Johnny Antony is a good light hearted entertainer. The movie revolves around the life of the title character Joppan and his love life.

Mamta Mohandas and Andrea Jeremiah play the female leads in the movie. The movie also marks the comeback of Salim Kumar and Harisree Ashokan.

Thoppil Joppan has been getting decent reviews and is pleasing the family audience. Thoppil Joppan earned an amount of Rs 1.55 crore from the first day collections.

Amidst the Pulimurugan wave in Kerala, Thoppil Joppan has done good business at the box office. Thoppil Joppan was mainly aimed at the family audience with good dose of humour and the right elements to entertain the audience.

Trade experts believe that Thoppil Joppan will continue it’s good run at the box office in the coming weeks as there are no other major releases coming up.

The movie is written by ‘Ordinary’ fame Nishad Koya and is produced by Noushad Alathoor under his banner Grande Film Corporation.
