Kerala Box Office : Thoppil Joppan First Day Collection

Thoppil Joppan is the latest release from Megastar Mammootty, which hit the screens all over Kerala on last day. This film directed by Johny Antony had started off with mixed reviews from audience and critics.

The film is a family entertainer written by Nishad Koya and Mammootty plays an Achayan character in this movie. The film had taken a very good opening considering the tough challenge it had to face from Mohanlal’s Pulimurugan.

Pulimurugan had created a storm here in Kerala last day and it is continuing and getting strong. But Thoppil Joppan has been able to make a good start at box office and trade analysts in our industry reports that the film had earned 1.55 crore on its first day and got a share around 73 lakhs on its opening.

The film had grossed above 6 lakh from Ernakulam multiplexes on its first day and the occupancy percentage of the film there on first day was around 75.

Even though the morning show statuses were only average to above average for the movie, it had picked during the night shows and at some places it had got excellent statuses.

The team behind the movie hoping that the flick will do good in the coming days as well to reach to a safety mark in box office very soon.
