After Trivandrum and Ernakulam, Oppam created a new record in Thrissur too

Mohanlal movie Oppam had taken Mollywood box office by storm right from the day it released and it is still continuing to do so. The film is now on its way to become the biggest grosser ever in Malayalam cinema history and it is creating records in every major cities in Keral.

At first it created history at Trivandrum by becoming the fastest 1 crore grossing Malayalam movie from there. It also become the first ever Malayalam movie to gross more than 50 lakhs from Ariesplex, Trivandrum and still going strong there.

Then, it made record at Ernakulam as it had crossed 2 crore gross from Ernakulam city in a rapid pace. From Ernakulam multiplexes alone, it had grossed near 1.7 crores till now.

After creating records there in Trivandrum and Ernakulam, now Oppam had created a new record in Thrissur city.

Oppam had become the fastest Malayalam movie to gross 1 crore from Thrissur as it had earned above 1 crore gross from just 24 day time from there. It had already got a share around 48 lakhs from there and surpassed the lifetime share earned by Premam and Ennu Ninte Moideen by now.

Drishyam is the current record holder there with 71 Lakhs share. Drishyam earned that share from Ragam and Girija theaters Thrissur and Oppam had earned this share from Ramadas and Inox.
