Mike Tyson to play a cameo role in Vijay Deverakonda’s Liger

Vijay Deverakonda’s upcoming pan-Indian thriller ‘Liger’ has got a huge addition in its cast. Legendary boxer Mike Tyson will be seen in a cameo role in the film. This marks his acting debut in Indian cinema.

Vijay Deverakonda announced the big news by tweeting,

‘Liger’ directed by Puri Jagganadh promises to be a full-on action film featuring Vijay Deverakonda as kickboxer. As part of preparations for the film, the actor underwent a major physical transformation and martial arts training.

Bollywood actress Ananya Panday plays the female lead. The film also stars Ramya Krishnan, Ronit Roy and Vishu Reddy in important roles.
Karan Johar is presenting the Hindi version of ‘Liger’. Popular actress Charemee Kaur, Hiroo Yash Johar and Apoorva Mehta are also part of the production.

The film is planned to be released simultaneously in 5 languages — Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Hindi and Malayalam.
