Mohanlal to star in Bollywood’s first ever space movie Chandamama Door Ke?

There is an exciting news coming in from Bollywood. Superstar Mohanlal is reportedly being considered to play an important character in Bollywood’s first ever space movie Chandamama Door Ke.

According to the reports, the team for this space adventure is considering Mohanlal to play a pivotal character in the movie. Though the character will not have much of screen time, it will be a very integral part to the plot. They also believe that only an actor of Mohanlal’s stature could pull off this particular role.

Chandamama Door Ke is directed by Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan. He has spent a lot of time researching for the movie at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) in USA. He has directed only one movie so far, but his debut work Lahore won awards at the national and many internationally stages. He also won the Indira Gandhi Award for best first film of a director at the 2009 National Film Awards.

Sushant Singh Rajput will play the lead role in this movie. He won over the audience countrywide with his portrayal of MS Dhoni’s character in the legendary cricketer’s biopic MS Dhoni : The Untold Story. The actor recently shared his training video of himself in the cockpit of an aircraft Boeing 737.

Recently, the creative director of UTV Motion Pictures Divya Rao mentioned that Mohanlal and Kamal Haasan was their next choice if Aamir Khan had not signed the movie.

Chandamama Door Ke is scheduled to go on floors by June. Mohanlal’s participation in the movie is still not confirmed. Let’s wait for official announcement from the team.
