Mohanlal in a dual role in Ittymaani Made In China

Mohanlal’s ‘Ittymaani Made in China’ is currently in the final stages of shoot. The team had recently travelled to China for a brief leg of shoot. In the China schedule, Mohanlal was seen sporting a typical Chinese look that resembled a martial artist. While speculations about a dual role had already surfaced online, the makers have now confirmed it.

Mohanlal plays a father-son duo in the movie. The son character Ittymaani is a caterer by profession. He owns the company, Ittymaani Catering Service based in Thrissur. Honey Rose plays his romantic interest. She essays the role of a nurse based in London. ‘Joseph’ fame Madhuri Braganza is paired with the father character.

‘Ittymaani Made In China’ directed by debutant duo Jibi and Joju is touted to be a fun-filled entertainer. Radikaa Sarath Kumar, Siddique, Vinu Mohan, Aju Varghese, Kailas, Johny Antony, Hareesh Kanaran, Salim Kumar, Sijoy Varghese, Nandu, Aristo Suresh, Swasika and many others are part of the supporting cast.

Antony Perumbavoor is producing the movie under the banner of Aashirvad Cinemas. It is slated for a grand release during the Onam season in September.
