Mohanlal-Lal Jose movie titled as Velipadinte Pusthakam

After years of speculations, Mohanlal’s movie with director Lal Jose has finally commenced. The movie recently went on floors in Trivandrum. Mohanlal is playing the role of a college principal in this movie written by Benny P Nayarambalam.

The makers officially announced the title today and is named as Velipadinte Pusthakam. The movie is a campus based entertainer and hence the title. We presume that the title was announced today as it happens to be Mohanlal’s 57th birthday today.

Mohanlal is playing the character of professor Mathew Idicula. The movie will showcase the relationship between teachers and students. Mohanlal’s own production house Aashirvad Cinemas is producing this film.

Angamaly Diaries fame Anna Reshma Rajan is the female lead in this film. She is playing the role of Mary, an assistant professor. Anoop Menon, Priyanka Nair, Salim Kumar, Angamaly Diaries fame Appani Ravi, Kalabhavan Shajon, Siddique, Alencier Ley Lopez, Aanandam fame Arun and many others are also part of the cast.

Shaan Rahman is composing the music while youngster Vishnu Sarma will be cranking the camera. The makers are planning to release the movie for this year’s Onam season.
