Mohanlal is Stephen Nadumballi in Lucifer!

Mohanlal is currently shooting in Trivandrum for Lucifer. The movie marks the directorial debut of Prithviraj. Murali Gopy has scripted the movie as a political thriller. From the official posters and location stills, we can make out that Mohanlal plays a politician’s role in the movie. His character in the movie named as Stephen Nadumballi.

The name instantly reminds one of Stephen Nettooran, an iconic character played by Mohanlal in the movie ‘Lal Salam’, which incidentally was also a political film. Lucifer, according to the makers, is a complete commercial mass entertainer. The movie will be worthy of both Mohanlal as an actor and a star. The star is seen sporting a salt and pepper hairstyle and a full-white look in the movie’s location stills.

Besides Mohanlal, Lucifer has a stellar star cast comprising of Indrajith, Vivek Oberoi, Tovino Thomas, Manju Warrier and ‘Queen’ fame Saniya Iyappan. Kalabhavan Shajon, Sai Kumar, director Fazil, Sunil Sughatha, Thara Kalyan, Praveena Thomas and Mala Parvathy are also part of the movie. There is a buzz going around that Prithviraj is also there in an extended cameo role, but it is yet to confirmed.
