Mohanlal Wraps ‘L2: Empuraan’ Shoot, Sets Release Date for March 2025

The wait is almost over! Malayalam cinema’s megastar Mohanlal has officially announced the completion of the much-anticipated sequel to Lucifer, titled L2: Empuraan. The film wrapped its shoot on December 1, 2024, after an extensive 14-month schedule spanning eight states and four countries, including the UK, USA, and UAE.

Sharing the exciting update on social media, Mohanlal expressed gratitude towards director Prithviraj Sukumaran, calling his work “brilliant” and praising his creativity for elevating every frame. He also thanked screenwriter Murali Gopy for his visionary storytelling and producer Antony Perumbavoor for unwavering support.
