Mohanlal’s Ittymaani scheduled for Onam release

Mohanlal starrer ‘Ittymaani Made In China’ is slated to go on floors from the last week of this month. The star is currently in the US on a family vacation, and will be returning back on 19th. Debutant duo Jibi and Joju are directing the movie, which is said to be a full-on comedy entertainer. Traditionally, fun entertainers have always had good run during festival time, so the makers are planning to release the movie for Onam in September.

‘Ittymaani Made In China’ will have Mohanlal speaking in a funny Thrissur dialect. Honey Rose has been signed as the female lead, her second film with Mohanlal after ‘Kanal’. Veteran Tamil actress Radhika Sarathkumar, Dharmajan Bolgatty, Vinu Mohan and Hareesh Kanaran are also part of the supporting cast.

Besides Thirssur and Ernakulam, the team will also be having a brief schedule in Singapore. Antony Perumbavoor is producing the movie under the banner of Aashirvad Cinemas.
